Dr. Rigdon grew up in Merritt Island, a small town off the coast of Central Florida very close to where they launch rockets at NASA. She then attended the University of Florida where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. After this, she decided to pursue her passion for animal medicine at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine for her DVM. Dr. Rigdon has a passion for small animal medicine and in particular, loves feline medicine and diagnostic imaging! She has one very spoiled tuxedo cat named Ares, and lives in Jacksonville with her partner Greg. In her free time, she loves to tend to her vegetable garden, read books, go to the beach and travel.
