Dr. Martina Sander was born in California but grew up in England, moving back to the U.S in 1981. Since then, she’s been a Florida native, graduating from Episcopal High School in 1983, the University of Florida in 1987 with a BSc in Animal Science, and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She has been certified in veterinary acupuncture for 18 years! Dr. Sander is passionate about the human animal bond and has a special love for senior pets. She enjoys volleyball, yoga, and travelling to England. She shares her home with Pippa, a 10 year old whippet, Sammy, a 10 year old Golden Retriever, Timber, a 5 year old cat, and Chance, a 3 year old lab.
